With the start of the season less than a month away it’s that time of the year when hold our Cricket Force event. This is an opportunity for members of all ages to come down and help in whatever way possible in getting the ground ready for the start of the new season.
Due to the building work over the winter there is more work than ever needed to get the ground ready therefore so we can get as much done as possible we’ll be running Cricket Force over both Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April this year.
We’ll be starting at 10am on both days with tea, coffee and Bacon Butties available through the day. Also, on the Saturday we will be screening the Liverpool v Everton game at 12.30pm.
Jobs that need completing include:
- Painting Fences & Walls
- Jet wash the Paths and Patio
- Clean down the Sightscreens
- Repair & Paint benches
- Repair the fencing
- Weeding and Edging of the paths
- Putting up the nets
- Clean and decorate the scorebox
