2nd XI Chester Cup 30-7-17

Ormskirk came out winners against Lytham for the second time in the weekend , this time in the Chester Cup Semi-Final.

Some excellent bowling leaving Lytham - 85 all out off 34.3 overs - Harvey Rankin 4-9, Chris Smith 3-17 left a relatively simple run-chase.

With a slight wobble losing 3 wickets with the scoreboard stuck on 27 it was left to Owen Griffiths 26* and Richard Brook 24* to steady the ship and see Ormskirk home without further incident.
