20th September 2025 was a day to remember for everyone connected with Ormskirk Cricket Club.
Gary Knight (Captain) led his team out at Lords, (there is no more a prestigious venue in Cricket) with an opportunity to make history and lift the ECB National Club Championship. A trophy never before won by any LDCC side.
For the 500+ spectators who made the trip, little did they know what a day of cricket they were to watch unfold.
