Anne Anderton

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Anne Anderton, wife of Derek Anderton and mother to Barry, Lee and Janet.

After a long illness Anne passed away in the early hours of Friday Morning.

For many years Anne was a very active member of the Club, and could often be found in the Tea Pavilion with her mother in law Doris, taking no nonsense from the players and creating Cricket Teas that Ormskirk were famous for.

The service for Anne will be held at:

St John the Evangelist Church , Chapel Lane, Burscough Monday 24th June at 10.45 am.

This will be followed by a cremation at West Lancashire Crematorium, Burscough at 12.15.

Refreshments will follow back at Ormskirk Cricket Club
