Ormskirk CC v Penzance CCSaturday 20 September 2025Lord's Cricket Ground

Yes, we know we are going to Lord's but we didn't know we'd have access to the Long Room! Yes, you read that right, the iconic Long Room will be available and open to OCC spectators during our visit. We have also been provided with details on the hospitality that will be available on the day of the game, for any of those wanting to support the mighty Ormskirk in style.

To top all this off, we have been in contact with Gray-Nicolls who have agreed to produce commemorative polos for us, to offer us a keepsake to remember the day. Please see below for further information.

Access to the Long Room

Built in 1890, it is the centrepiece of the Grade II* listed Pavilion. It is steeped in cricketing heritage. It is lined with some of the finest paintings from the MCC’s collection, showcasing the sport’s rich history and this is your chance to stand where legends have walked, all whilst watching your beloved Ormskirk Cricket Club.

That's right, there will be a limited number of pavilion passes made available to the Club which will allow OCC supporters to access the pavilion, in particular, the Long Room. The only caveat to this is that there is a very strict dress code that will need to be adhered to. The usual MCC dress code will be in operation and more information on this can be found using this link:

The relevant dress code can be found under the "pavilion" drop down.

It is important that this is respected and that no spectators should attempt to gain entry to the pavilion without the appropriate dress or without a pavilion pass. The pavilion passes can be passed around during the course of the day, so despite the passes being limited to around 25, these can be passed between supporters. This should give everyone the opportunity, if they so wish, to experience the Lord's pavilion and Long Room.

Lord's Hospitality

The ECB have also confirmed that there will be hospitality available for the final. This will be in the form of a private suite which is located in the Tavern Stand. You can purchase a single or double suite. Prices noted below.

  • Single Suite (up to 18 guests) - £350 plus VAT

  • Double Suite (up to 36 guests) - £500 plus VAT

On top of the above, you then have the option of purchasing food and drink from the packages available. Alternatively, you can have a consumption bar where any drinks consumed will be billed following the end of the game. Food packages start at £31 plus VAT per person and the drinks packages start at £62 plus VAT per person.

For those who are interested in booking hospitality or anyone wanting more information on this and/or access to the pavilion/Long Room, please contact Scott Lees on scott_lees587@msn.com or 07932395238.The deadline to book any hospitality (not including the Long Room - bookings not required), is Tuesday 9 September 2025. Therefore, we urge anyone who is interested, to get in touch asap.
